Overnight to Niagara Falls

V!VA Pickering Retirement Community had its very first fun filled overnight outing to Niagara Falls. The itinerary was packed with fun activities. On the first day, we watched The Grand Hotel play at the Shaw Festival and settled into our fallsview suite at the Hilton Hotel. We enjoyed a meal at the casino buffet and some had some luck playing at the casino to end the night. The next morning’s adventures started off with a hornblower boat cruise close to the falls, followed by a delicious lunch at Betty’s. On route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, we stopped at a local market, ending our excursion with a wine tour and tasting at Konzelmann’s Winery. Our Community Members had such a wonderful time that we are looking forward to planning a two-night trip to Ottawa next year during the tulip festival.
