St. Patrick’s Day Party

As the Irish expression proclaims, “There are only two kinds of people in the world, the Irish and those who wish they were”. This statement of Irish pride may contain a grain of truth… at least it did at V!VA Mississauga Retirement Community this St. Patrick’s Day, when Irish and wannabe-Irish alike celebrated with great music, clovers, gold coins, and even a glass or two of green beer! Marty Oakes brought us a great afternoon of music and cheer on Friday, March 15th, and Volunteer Virginia dazzled us with her years of experience on the piano at our St. Patrick’s Day Café on Sunday, March 17th. With that wonderful celebration behind us, and spring on its way, we’re happy to be seeing green for a while!
