10 Years of Live, Love, and Laugh!

Waterside Retirement Community Members, Team Members, family members, and friends of Waterside gathered here at the Community on June 5th to celebrate the incredible milestone of our 10 year anniversary. Waterside Community Director Denise delivered a welcoming speech, and V!VA Retirement Communities President Eli Marder shared memories over the past 10 years. Special presentations were given by Community Member Pat Schoular and the Top Hatters (who shall remain anonymous) and Jenn with the Waterside Songbirds.
Community Members Gibb, Melva, Joyce, and Joe were given special honours for having been at Waterside since the Community opened. Team Members were treated with special ball caps, and all Community Members with special sun visors marking our 10th anniversary , while Denise was presented with a dozen beautiful orange roses as a token of appreciation from Community Members and Team Members. The celebration continued through the afternoon, featuring live music from local musicians, the Dixieland Brass Band, delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by our Culinary Team, a photo booth featuring fun props, a caricature artist, and a candy bar of goodies.
Waterside would like to extend a special thanks to its Team Members for delivering an amazing celebration, Pat Schoular for organizing the Top Hatters, and Jenn and the Songbirds for all your hard work throughout the year. Here’s to another 10 wonderful years!
