A festive recipe for you and Santa!

Are you counting down the days to the holidays? We sure are, and in preparation for the upcoming festivities, we wanted to make sure we treated you to an end-of-year recipe that will have Santa knocking on your door for more! Our Executive Chef Robert has graciously prepared yet another hit with our V!VA Community Members.
Enjoy this sweet treat with family and friends and don’t forget to leave some out for Santa!
Festive Toblerone Shortbread
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter softened
Half a cup powdered sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Toblerone Chocolate Bar
Preparation:
Step 1) Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Step 2) In a bowl cream together butter and sugar. Add flour and mix until a soft dough is formed.
Mold into a cohesive ball with your hands.
Step 3) Roll dough out into a quarter-inch thick. Cut into rounds and place on the baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 5) Pull cookies out of the oven and place Toblerone chocolate chunks into the cookies.
Step 6) Put back in the oven and bake for another 6 minutes.
