Introducing Anytime Dining
Published on November 2, 2020
V!VA Retirement Communities is thrilled to introduce Anytime Dining. Rather than have breakfast, lunch and dinner during set times, our Community Members are now welcome to dine whenever they please!* Heading out for an early round of golf? Enjoy a late breakfast upon your victorious return. Have tickets to an evening show? Grab an early dinner before you go.
Since Anytime Dining was introduced at V!VA Retirement Communities, Community Members have been delighted with the flexibility and increased independence provided by the new program:
“At the other retirement home where I was living, I always felt rushed and anxious to get my breakfast. I like to sleep in, I think I’ve earned it, and often I would miss breakfast because they stopped serving and closed the dining room at 9am. I was left trying to make it to through exercise with nothing to eat before. But now, I can enjoy my meals on my schedule without worrying about missing breakfast or classes.” – A.D.
“My pills have to be taken at a certain time, half an hour before or after eating. That was always a problem because the dining room would be closed by 9am. I don’t have to worry about that anymore. It’s absolutely wonderful.” – Jan L.
“I love that I can go to eat at any time and not miss any of the baseball or tennis games I enjoy watching.”
– Ernie W.
“I have an care provider come to help me in the mornings. They don’t always show up at the same times, and I would often miss my meal, or my care. Now I can come to the dining room for breakfast at 10:00am if I need to. I don’t have to worry anymore.” – Eileen G.
From these few statements, it’s clear that V!VA’s Anytime Dining is enhancing our Community Members’ experience on a daily basis and improving their quality of life. That’s why we say that the only thing more appetizing than Anytime Dining is our V!VAlicious cuisine, itself.
